Venturing into the Past

This morning I was very bored. So Obviously the logical thing to do when your bored is to go on Google and search random things, Right? So I wrote Pom Poms and the first thing that Google showed me was the New Jonas Brothers song called Pom Poms. Truthfully I had no idea that they had a new song called Pom Poms. So I clicked on the YouTube video and watched the music video. Here is the video if you would like to watch it
I stopped watching it after about a minute. I personally did not like the song. It was not as catchy as their old stuff and didn't seem to have much meaning but I did only watch a minute of it so... yeah.

I then stumbled upon the music video for Popular by Mika featuring Ariana Grande. I thought it was good but not amazing because it didn't seem very original. Here is the video so you can see so for your self.
This actually brought me back to my tween years because when i was younger I did listen to a lot of music by Mika. So i decided to venture back into my past and listen to some more songs by Mika. I then clicked on a song by him that I have never heard before called Elle Me Dit. This song is all in french and is very techno. I liked it because it was very catchy but I could not understand what the song was saying because it was in a different language. The music video its self was kinda odd because it was just people dancing. Here is the music video.

Have you guys ever come across music you have listened to in the past? Comment below on what artists they were.

Bastille

Bastille is a great alternative rock band. The band consists of Dan Smith, Chris wood, Kyle Simmons, and Will Farquarson. This band formed on July 14th ( Dan Smith's Birthday). Their music seems to be a little dark and soft at the same time and is very catchy. I think that this band is great for people who listen to Bands like The 1975, Two Door Cinema Club, Imagine dragons and other bands similar to those but it you don't listen to them it doesn't mean that you wont like the band Bastille. Here is a chance to listen to some of their great songs below:
Pompeii

Laura Palmer
Overjoyed

If you liked Bastille's music sure to comment or if you didn't you may also comment too. Also tell me what types of genres of music you guys would like me to blog about.
